About to take a ferry in an ID 5, still getting to know the car & keen to disable the alarm before the journey.
Any tips much appreciated..
Slightly annoyed by the super slim manual, saying the full manual is in the infotainment system, when it isn’t yet. Support say that will come in time..

Your manual will appear before in the infotainment too long (you might want to keep an eye on the notifications for updates available), but I've found the in-car version pretty hard work to use, tbh. It is at least comprehensive, though.

The online manual is great but you need to enter your VIN every time you access it I have my VIN on a notepad file so I can cut and paste it in.
On another forum I found a PDF of the ID4 manual that someone had posted, which is generally very relevant to my ID5. Here is the page from that about the alarm system, I hope it's useful to you...
