Re: iD.5 Brochure ?2023
Not really the exact answer you're looking for, since VW seem pretty good at disappearing info for superseded vehicles. They seem now only to offer the Match and GTX trims for new orders. I did find this at Carwow...https://www.carwow.co.uk/volkswagen/id5/specifications#gref For quite a lot less mon...

Re: Is type two cable supplied
I can confirm that my July 2022 Pro Perfomance Tech was supplied with a Type 2 cable. My dealer also generously threw in a 13A "Granny" charger on request.

Re: App error
Hmm, this is odd. I have found recent versions of the app to be more reliable. Are you running the latest app version? Mine (Android) is at V3.0.7 (Android). In particular, I rarely have any need to synchronise manually. Does your car have a good signal where it's usually parked? And what s/w versio...

Re: Auto Confirm Primary User
I think this "feature" appeared in V3.0 of the vehicle software. I'm not aware that anyone has found a way around it yet.
If it's any consolation, it does become less of an irritation over time.

Re: New User - Delivery April, apparently
Welcome finlagganfan There's a thread going on over at the ID3 forum https://www.id3forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2855&p=37997&hilit=emden#p37997 discussing transport arrangements, but no-one really knows what goes on in VW's head. Either way it will be exciting for you! Which model d...

Re: Ferry Travel & Alarm
Hi Tom Your manual will appear before in the infotainment too long (you might want to keep an eye on the notifications for updates available), but I've found the in-car version pretty hard work to use, tbh. It is at least comprehensive, though. You can access your manual online from your pc or phone...

Re: New ID5 Owner - Introduction & Charge Distance Guidance
Hi Steve Firstly, congratulations on your new car! Don’t get too hung up on the dreaded “Guess-o-Meter”. It seems to calculate the range based on your most recent driving, vehicle settings and temperatures of battery and ambient air, and these will naturally change from drive to drive. The accuracy ...

A really nice looking car! I'm sure you will love owning it. You're bang on about the software, but you do eventually get used to it, and I'm sure you'll find ways of working around the foibles. If you're on Android, make good use of Android Auto, which is constantly improving. Please post your thou...
